Born in Bonn, Beethoven gripped the world and moved hearts with the power of his music. During years of deafening silence, he composed symphonies that continue to transform listeners today. Cast in the role of Beethoven’s assistant Ferdinand Ries, Micah Sandt offers a compelling account of the composer’s tumultuous life and monumental music. He is joined by pianist Yoonie Han who represents the secret inspiration behind some of Beethoven’s most impassioned solo piano works.
The Bonn Man is written by Leanne Nicholls and performed in historical costumes.
Set design and lighting by Ernesto Maurice Corpus.
